about dahom
what is dahom?
dahom was created from a longing.
a longing for stillness.
for beauty.
for spaces that hold you the way arms do.
it began as a vision—of community, of sitting in a circle, of rooms with dimmed light, of gentle sounds that help us breathe a little deeper, a little slower.
it started as a whisper.
a pull toward something more heart-led, more present, more human.
an open corner of the world where souls could meet.
a space where we could feel held—and learn how to hold each other.
dahom is not a place, really.
it’s a feeling.
it lives in the quiet between two singing bowls,
in the glow of a lit tea candle,
in a question that opens the heart.
it lives in the carefully chosen, intentionally placed details.
dahom is what happens when we allow ourselves to be moved by beauty.
dahom is beauty—always there, even when no one is looking.
a reminder of how much of it lives within and around us, patiently waiting for us to slow down and notice.
we explore mindfulness through curiosity and openness, believing we are, indeed, ceremonial beings.
we create immersive (some might say unforgettable:) experiences.
dahom becomes a memory—one that expands our understanding of what’s possible in just a few hours of slowness and presence, the one we can return to.
each offering is crafted to soothe the nervous system, awaken the senses, and gently guide us toward what’s alive in us.
we work with individuals, communities, and brands who believe that spaces can hold emotion, that events can carry memory, and that care—real, thoughtful care—makes all the difference.
dahom was created to be a home for that care.
Who am I?
this is a question I keep asking and the one i keep answering.
i first tried to answer it by studying the structures and laws that shape human society.
then, i tried to answer it by exploring the world from a bird’s-eye view as a cabin crew member.
later, i landed back home and i tried to answer it through words—writing about mindful and healthy hair care.
and for a few years, i tried to answer it through entrepreneurship.
now, a few years and many answers later, my path feels clearer than ever. everywhere i’ve been and everything i’ve done is woven into who i am today, and it seems like it led me to creating dahom.
now, i answer the question through the resonance of singing bowls, through deep presence, through meditation as poetry, through everyday ceremonies and curiosity as a part of my purpose.
i am a sound therapist, using the power of vibration to create spaces of peace, rest and restoration.
i am a gestalt therapist in training, holding space with deep presence, insightful questions, and authentic connection.
i am a ceremonialist at heart, weaving ritual, creativity, and play into spaces that invite the child in us to explore, wonder, and grow.
nowadays, i also believe part of the answer is in the joy and play, and that reminding the world of that is part of my purpose.
healing, after all, is also about lightness and finding beauty.
